Most machines older than 15years have antiquated control systems, and sourcing these control components is time consuming and replacement cards are often expensive. After 15 years the wiring is also brittle and a common source of faults. Relays and contactors are also at the end of their usef full life.

MECHANICAL

On the mechanical side once again a wide variety of options are available from fixing problem areas to complete rebuilds. We specialize in Demag Machines, but other machines can be rebuilt upon request.

Our rebuilt machines carry a one year guarantee on workmanship and various guarantees from our suppliers. We supply the software with our electrical upgrades after the expiry of the guarantee period. We can either supply the machine with a Delta or an Omron PLC according to your needs and budget.

STANDARD MACHINE UPGRADE

The standard upgrade includes the following:
1. New control panel for PLC.
2. New operator interface with touch screen and membrane switch.
3. Complete re-wire of low voltage wire.
4. Standard functional program with the following:
              a) 4 Linear transducers
              b) 4 cores with basic movements
              c) 6 heater zones consisting of 4 barrel, 1 feed zone and oil temperature
              d) 1 main pump with it's proportional or digital controls
              e) Process statistics page with 8 parameters
              f) 16 Mould catalogues
              g) Standard pages to control all parameters on the machine
